Vintage Rhythm and Blues Ensemble (VRBE)is, first and foremost, a band. We are a unique musical group (or more like a conglomeration!) comprised of some of Rhode Island’s most in-demand musicians performing traditional Blues, “Old-School” Rhythm and Blues, Swing, Soul, Rockabilly, Country Blues, and early, roots Rock’n’Roll. The premise of the band is that each week we have the opportunity to perform with a different special guest artist/vocalist. In addition, VRBE is not only available as a unit for live performances on its own, but is also available for hire if you are a singer/musician in need of a backup rhythm section for live dates or recording dates!
